303 sniper, in the late 60`s early 70`s the British army only wanted 7.62 rifles, but no decent sniper could be sourced, so just over 1000 original WW2 no4T`s were converted to 7.62 nato with a heavy free floating target barrel, engineered breach and extractor and revised woodwork and meterised sites and no32 mk2 and mk3 scopes. Original British army 7.62 L42a1 sniper rifle - as all correct L42a1`s this one started out as a 1944 dated no.4T.
